How many sessions will I need?

Most people find an initial consultation and either one or two follow-ups beneficial. However, many clients find one session sufficient; others prefer
on-going support and may wish to have further consultations.

How long will it take until my symptoms improve?

Generally some improvement will be seen within 4 weeks. (A follow-up session may be recommended at this time, so that progress can be assessed). However, timings are dependent on the condition and the individual. The longer the condition has been present, the longer it takes. For menstrual problems an improvement is generally seen within a couple of months.

Will I need to make major changes to my diet?

We work with you to identify the changes that would be of most benefit. Sometimes small changes can make a big difference. Advice is tailored to fit in with your lifestyle. Some clients want to make major changes, others prefer smaller steps.

If I eat a balanced diet, do I need to take supplements?

Many people do not obtain sufficient vitamins and minerals from their diets. The nutrient content of many foods is not what it used to be. Additionally stress, pollution and foods such as sugar and alcohol increase our needs for certain nutrients. Vitamins and minerals work together and a shortage of one may affect the ability of another to work effectively. Specific supplements may help alleviate symptoms more quickly than diet alone.
